Oct. 28th, 2006

The week is almost over. It’s Saturday. I’m not ready for my crazy schedule to start again. But then again, they family can drive you crazy, so your ready for school. It is a weird think in the life of a teenager. It’s a “love-hate” relationship.

But break… well I don’t know it you call mine one. Saturday I got up, went to school, took the PSAT. Right after that, My family and I left for Califorina City. It’s this town (population is somewhere around 3,500), to go quading (motorcyle riding, but the bike has four wheels like a car). So we drove for 3 hours. It is all flat with few hills that are covered in rocks. But these rocks are iron ore, so it hurts when you don’t exactly go over them. I got hurt once (a world record). I didn’t clear a rock all the way, so I badly scratched the beast plate on my 250 quad and burised the ribs on my upper chest (Only because i didn’t where my chest proctector. My excuse is that it doesn’t anymore-and it really doesn’t-besides I grew, so I don’t wear toddler sizes anymore.) But I had fun. My dad educated me on changing oil, cleaning the chain, gas, the engine and very thing else that makes the darn thing run. But I can’t remember what to do or what things are called. But I survived. O yes.. and at this place there were random burnt up cars. There was a funny-looking truck, a Chey Blazer, and a Cadillac from the ’70s.

Thrusday, we took another family trip to Disneyland. It was my sisters first time, she’s five & my brother’s second. It was fun. The tea cups were awsome! It’s a small world wasn’t happy, but none of minded. The only problem was that there weren’t any wheelchairs left so I wasn’t ab;e to get one. So I died, or at least my knee did. But I’m alive.

I’m just ready for a few more day to sleep. I need it, but I wake up incredibly early everyday.

I picked up a new book and it sounds pretty good. It’s called “The Color of Water” by James McBride. It’s a tribute the the author’s mother. The title was fasinating so I got it.

Well, Jefferson… he is not my favorite person right know, he was too famous.

Next Week = October Break

The Good: I am so glad nest week is October break. I really need it. Plus, I get to go to Disneyland next week.
The Bad: My brain isn’t working this week. I had the concept of Jefferson fro Ellis and O’Brien, then I learned new things in trig and totally lost everything about Jefferson. Plus, I’m learning bones in physiology, and that’s going to be something funny. And tests – one in trig and one in Spanish 2 – tomorrow! Eww.

The Ugly: To start off the break I am taking the PSAT. I don’t mind taking the test at all. It’s the fact it is the first Saturday of break and I have to be at school at the normal time. Then right after it, my family (including me) is going quading for 3-5 days. So I will have no time to relax.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)

I can’t ask for more.

So today, wow, it was a day. Nothing really happened. I took a test in trigonometry, then did nothing really in Spanish. Went to FIRE, figured out that the new system for math is horrible, and then went to lunch. I got lunch, went to Access, then off to Geib’s. Today went a thousand miles an hour.

But tomorrow… wow ain’t that a story. I have a test in physiology. That’s not the bad part, its the fact the Percy is the teacher and she can’t teach for all the beans in Latin America. It’s so horrible that I don’t even think she knows what she is talking about. The only reason i am taking the class is because Butler was teaching – not the lack of a teacher. So no matter how much I study, I know absolutely nothing.

Ash…. the torch-er of education. Save me.
